Crossfire : Brandon Flowers
Brandon Flowers is rescued by Charlize Theron in his music video for "Crossfire", the official first single from The Killers' frontman upcoming debut solo album "Flamingo" - in stores on September 14th. 2010 is finally the year when Flowers steps out solo, something that had been rumored for awhile and was confirmed a few months ago. Back to the clip, it was filmed by Australian director Nash Edgerton. In it Brandon is seen being captured and tortured by random ninja warriors (huh?) but is heroically rescued by South African beauty Charlize Theron (Uma Thurman, Kill Bill, hello?) Now that makes the video interesting! "Crossfire" was officially released on June 21st. It hasn't charted yet on the Billboard nor can be found on US iTunes' Top 100 but all of that will come I guess in the due course with the correct promotion. We have now the music video, next we'll be seeing Brandon performing the single on TV. Let's see if can make it as a soloist. (Source: directlyric.com)

Brandon Flowers - Crossfire Lyrics and Video

There’s a still in the street outside your window
You’re keepin’ secrets on your pillow
Let me inside, no cause for alarm
I promise tonight not to do no harm
I promise you baby,I won't be no harm

And we're caught up in the crossfire
A heaven and hell
And were searching for shelter
Lay your body down...

Watching your dress as you turn down the light
I forget all about the storm outside
Dark clouds roll their way over town
Heartache and pain came pouring down like
Chaos in the rain, yeah

They're handing it out

And we're caught up in the crossfire
Heaven and hell
And were searching for shelter
Lay your body down...

Tell the devil that he can go back from where he came
His fire he airs all through their beating vein.
And when the hardest part is over we'll be here
And our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears
Boundaries of our fears

Lay your body down(6x)

Next to mine....
