Not Giving Up On Love : Sophie Ellis Bextor

Sophie Ellis Bextor has premiered the music video for "Not Giving Up On Love", the official second single from her upcoming fourth studio album "Straight To The Heart" - in stores in October in the UK. The dance/techno/pop tune is a joint venture between the British star and Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren - who is credited for the production - which will be also included on his upcoming CD "Mirage" (September 10). As this normally works, the DJ brings the infectious beats and in this case Sophie delivers the vocals. "Not Giving Up On Love" is just alright IMO. It'll do a great job in the clubs I'm sure, but I don't know if it has it all to fight for the top spots in the Official UK Singles Chart which is Bextor's aim after the dissapointing performance of the previous single "Bittersweet". As for the newly premired video, that I really enjoyed. Sophie looks stunning! It was directed by Sophie Muller and filmed in party-island Ibiza. You'll see Ms Bextor enjoying the sun and the mediterranean sea on a boat and partying the night away in a club. (Source: directlyrics.com)
